The journey from New York to The Grand Canyon National Park
It took us approximately two days for us to reach Arizona the home of the famous Grand Canyon. Although the journey was pretty long it was worth the ride. Travelling through five different states and experiencing a little of each was astounding. The people, the scenery and the food were to die for.Pennsylvania
The journey from New York we decided to stop at the Pennsylvania state capitol building in Harrisburg to take pictures, what a spectacle that was, this building was built in 1906 and it features a huge dome. We were told that the interior of the building designs was inspired by the Paris Grand Opera House. We decided we needed to try the food so we headed to Philadelphia to taste their cheesesteaks and yes it was the best cheesesteak I've had. I was delicious I would recommend to others it is a must try.Ohio
Ohio was the next state we passed through we didn't stop but the view from the car was amazing, nature at it’s best had few run-ins with a few animals on the road. This state is nature lovers paradise.Indiana
Indiana was the next stop we wanted to get some fresh air and something to eat while we were there we thought why not go sightseeing. We stopped by the beautiful Wellfield Botanical gardens. It was relaxing and serene, it took my mind off the long journey we had ahead. As soon as I was getting used to the serenity of the place it was time for us to hit the road again.Missouri
Missouri was the next state we passed it was late when we reached this state but we didn't stop to do any sightseeing as it was getting late and we wanted to reach New Mexico before nightfall.New Mexico
Nightfall caught us and we decided we would stay over at a motel in this state. I couldn't sleep as I was super excited as we were nearing our destination eventually I fell asleep. We woke early in the morning and we journeyed on.
The Grand Canyon
We finally made it and it was more beautiful than what I saw on the television. The is 1,500 m deep and is the most breathtaking gorge I have ever seen. The Grand Canyon has around 70 million species of mammals, how spectacular is that?. It is populated by five Native Indian tribes how fascinating is that?. The tour was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of it.The journey was long but it was worth it, the USA is a remarkable country to explore there are so many places with a rich and diverse history that needs to be explored.
